Contains: NO FISH … this receipe is Rice Crispy deliciousness!!

I took these fake sushi rolls to our fun Friday lunch at school  and all my friends went crazy!  I had a blast making them.  It was gooey, and sticky, but extra yummy!

Here’s what you need:

• 1/4 cup butter
• 4 cups of mini marshmallows
• 6 cups crisped rice cereal
• 1 package of gummy worms
• 1 to 2 boxes of fruit roll-ups (use solid colors)
• Baking sheet or cutting board (could use wax paper on counter)

Follow these steps to create an authentic looking sushi roll:

1. First grease baking sheet or lay out wax paper
2. Second, melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat
3. Add marshmallows and stir until melted.
4. Remove from heat and stir in rice cereal until covered with marshmallow mixture.
5. Press the marshmallow mixture onto wax paper or baking sheet evenly into a rectangle (Tip: dip fingers in vegetable oil)
6. Start at one end and lay gummy worms about 1/2 inch from edge of crispy treat.
7. Then roll the mixture over the gummy worms to make a log.
8. STOP … and cut the log away from the rest of the mixture.  Repeat until all the worms and mixture are gone.
9. Finally, slice each log into 1 inch rolls and wrap them with a strip of fruit roll-up.

Extra fun: Get orange slice candy and roll it flat with a rolling pin.  Place sushi rolls out neatly on a tray.  Place a little lettuce pile next to sushi rolls, and then add flattened orange slice on lettuce.  It looks like a beautigul ginger glower garnish!

• 4 Slices of cucumber
• 4 Pretzel sticks
• 1 Round cracker
• 2 Black olives
• Teddy Bear graham crackers
• 2 Tooth picks
• Spray cheese

Follow the steps for a creepy crawly snack or lunch:

1. First, poke pretzels slicks through cucumbers and into bread bun.
2. Second, use spray cheese to attach round cracker to bun for a steering wheel.
3. Next, poke toothpicks through black olives and into bun to make “headlight” eyes.
4. Place your graham cracker bear friends into the bun buggy for a fun spin!

Bonus: to make this delicious treat turn into lunch … add your favoraite lunch meat inside the bun!
